In 1997, Wujin Founder Motor City Electric Co., Ltd. was established and was the former of Changzhou Duowei Electric Co., Ltd.
In 1998, shredder motor control panel was successfully developed and put into mass production.
In 1999, single-phase series motor was successfully developed and put into mass production.
In 2000, Duowei passed the ISO9001:2000 Quality Supervision System Attestation.
In 2001, brushless DC motors was successfully developed and put into mass production.
In 2003, Duowei passed the UL Attestation for HC series motor, YY series capacitor motor, ZWS series brush-less motor; it passed the 3C Attestation for HC series motor, YY series capacitor motor and YDK series Air conditioning motor; and it obtained "Export Products Quality Permission License".
In 2004, Duowei passed the Measurement Assurance Attestation.
In 2007, Linear motor was successfully developed and put into mass production.
In 2009, Duowei passed ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001.
In 2010, Duowei successfully passed ISO9001:2000 & ISO9001: 2008, and obtained Permanent magnet generator patent.
